THE ENERGY OVERFLOW ORGANIZATION is a non-profit organization committed to providing access to success to at-risk youth and creators who lack resources. Our goal is to build our community while providing access to creative development education and financial literacy to the next generation of creators.

PROGRAMS

  • GROCERY GIVEAWAYS

    In partnership with local Detroit businesses, community leaders, and rappers, GT and Energy Overflow have led the initiative to donate over 120,000 lbs. of food to Detroit families in a number of community grocery giveaways.

  • COMMUNITY EVENTS

    Energy Overflow believes it takes a village! Aimed at community-building and relationship strengthening, Energy Overflow hosts free activities and events like its staple event “Baseball Night,” which provides a free game ticket, food and drink to youth ages 8-18.

  • HOLIDAY EVENTS

    Energy Overflow hosts events and drives during holidays and back-to-school season. We partner with community leaders and businesses to provide support and resources for Detroit families giving away school supplies, backpacks, easter baskets, haircuts, face painting and more.

the compound

The Compound is a. 4000 square foot creative arts community center ran and facilitated by the Energy Overflow team. Renovated in 2023 by Energy Overflow founder and rapper GT, The Compound is the creative hub for culture, creative ideation, and talent development.

Located on Detroit’s Eastside, the facility will feature a yoga/dance studio, candy store, music studio, and a streaming room (XBox, Playstation, PCs, and more).
